Now i know how difficult it can be to find a show lately on Netflix or Hulu whether they are older or new. Here are a few that i have gotten extremely hooked on that maybe you can enjoy as well. i will be listing them oldest to newest. with a brief description of the show and my own personal thoughts, and grade.
The Unit: Released March 7, 2006 Created by David Mamet
Action, Drama, Thriller, War.
The unit is based on a team in the Special Forces operatives, they are constantly risking their life on a daily basis and going undercover all over the world. Their families stay at home and also shows how it effects what their families go through living undercover their whole life. This show is definitely a thriller and an amazing show. The only downside is it only has 4 seasons it stopped in 2009 i was very upset about that, but aside from that its a show to binge watch for sure! Grade B.
Sons Of Anarchy (SOA): Released September 3, 2008 created by Kurt Sutter
Crime,Drama,Thriller.
SOA is a MUST!! in 2008 it was what everyone was talking about. The best show ever soa is based on a guy who is in his early 30's and struggles between his life and being a new dad and oh yeah did i mention his involvement in a motorcycle club. WOW this show goes to badass, jaw dropping, tears, and laughs it has it all.. this is one of my all time favorites i even have a t-shirt. They won a Golden GLOBE another 10 wins and 55 nominations!!!Grade A.
The Following: Released January 21,2013 created by Kevin Williamson
Crime, Drama, Mystery, Thriller
The following is based on a psychotic serial killer who communicates with other crazy serial killers and creates a cult of believers following his every command. This show is insane and ill warn you their is many gruesome episodes. It has a lot of jaw dropping scenes and will leave you on the edge of your chair waiting for more. It won 3 awards and was nominated 13 times. Will you dare to watch this show? i did and it was worth it. Grade B.
Stranger Things: Released July 15, 2016 created by Matt Duffer, Ross Duffer
Drama,Fantasy, Horror, Mystery, Sci-fi, Thriller
Stranger Things is based on a young boy who disappears and his mom goes insane i mean who wouldn't right? So all his friends, police and mom must confront terrifying forces in order to get him back. They go through many obstacles, very strange things (get it)? and they meet new people and is all over all great show the story was told perfectly and is very interesting. When season two came out i binge watched it in 2 in a half days #no life. This show was nominated for 4 Golden Globes another 27 wins! and 113 nominations. Let that sink in for a second. Grade A.
This Is Us: Released September 20,2016 created by Dan Fogelman
Comedy, Drama.
This is us is based on 3 children that share the same birthday, they go through everyday life struggles growing up witch many of us can relate to. It's very heart warming and i can promise you that you WILL cry. Every episode gets better and better its an amazing show that catches the audience to connecting with us in real life situations this show is a must! and i hope you enjoy it. I personally grade This Is Us an A+. What can i say they deserve it they recently received a Golden Globe 2018 it speaks for itself.
